It was a pleasant day at the bog near the OEC. Eve and Adrienne were doing some water testing [Bog water].Then Eve exclaimed, “Let’s go to the marsh!”

“Ok,” responded Adrienne “I will leave the samples here”. And so they walked to the marsh. When they got there, they saw Anderson trying to make a house because the wetland was not important to him [and he could not find another place to do it].

Adrienne noticed a gas leak and Eve yelled “STOP“ but Anderson shouted “NO, ” and hopped out of the bulldozer that he was driving and ran into the woods. Eve ran to turn off the bulldozer and Adrienne ran after Anderson but could not catch him. When Adrienne came back Eve estimated that he had been there an hour and a half [by how much damage had been done].

Then Adrienne suggested that they run to the river edge. When they got to the river they saw Taylor testing water. ”Hey,” greeted Eve.

”Hi” whispered Taylor

“What are you doing here?” questioned Adrienne.

”I came to spend the night,” answered Taylor, “on the way over I saw an oil truck on the over here so I came down to see if anything was wrong, “[and decided to test the water].

Just then Anderson drove up in an oil truck and began to pouring oil into the river! Eve and Adrienne started running toward Anderson. Eve stopped the oil and Adrienne caught Anderson. Taylor dropped her water testing equipment and grabbed her cell phone to call the forest rangers. When they got there Anderson was arrested. So Eve, Taylor, and Adrienne jumped on to a four wheeler that someone left behind and drove down the river.

When they got ahead of the oil some people were there. Eve, Taylor, and Adrienne asked if anyone had an idea about what they could do to stop the oil. One man had some sand bags in his truck so everyone grabbed a sand bag and made a dam .Taylor called a truck to suck up the oil. Then Eve, Taylor, and Adrienne went back to the OEC for the night.

THE END
